How to upload a video or image (and which formats work)
You record a two minute screen share, drag it in, and nothing happens for ninety seconds with no indication whether it is working or broken. That silence is worse than an error. Forgefy accepts drops, pastes, library picks and plain file selection. Large sources are normalised in the background so the editor stays responsive, and you get a visible progress overlay while that runs.

Video: MP4 and WebM work everywhere. MOV works when it is H.264. iPhone HEVC .MOV files are blocked at upload on purpose, because browsers cannot decode them reliably and you would get a broken half-second clip instead of your video. Convert to H.264 first. Image: PNG, JPG and WebP. Transparent PNGs stay transparent when you use them as a logo or sticker. Very large sources (long screen recordings, 4K phone footage) get an optimised master generated once. Why was my .MOV rejected?
It is almost certainly HEVC (iPhone default). Re-export it as H.264 MP4 and it will upload fine. We block it up front rather than let it fail silently at export time.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no hard limit in the app, but files over roughly 100MB are normalised first, which takes a moment. Platforms have their own limits, and Forgefy repairs the file automatically when a platform rejects the size.
