Connect in about a minute

1. Copy your Forgefy connector URL. 2. In Claude, go to Customize > Connectors. Click + Add, then Add custom connector. 3. Name it Forgefy and paste the URL. If Claude asks how to sign in, choose Sign in now, and under OAuth client choose Register automatically. Click Add. 4. Sign in with your Forgefy account. Check that your own email is shown, then click Allow. 5. In a chat, click + then Connectors and switch Forgefy on. Now ask.

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol is the open standard AI apps use to work with other software. Forgefy runs an MCP server, so Claude can use your Forgefy account directly.

Do I need an API key?

Not in Claude. You sign in and click Allow. API keys are only for Claude Code and scripts, under Settings, Account.

Which Claude plans work?

All of them. On Free you can add one custom connector. On Team and Enterprise an Owner adds Forgefy first.

Does it cost extra?

No. MCP is part of every Forgefy plan and the 7-day trial. When your trial or plan ends, Claude can't use Forgefy until you pick a plan.

Can Claude post without me?

No. Posts arrive as drafts. They go out only after you approve them, in Forgefy or by telling Claude to approve.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. Connect once on the web or desktop, and Forgefy is there in the Claude mobile app too.

Does it work with ChatGPT, Cursor or other apps?

Forgefy speaks standard MCP with OAuth sign-in, so apps that support remote MCP servers can use the same URL. Tested in Claude and Grok. If your app gets stuck, email paul@forgefy.io.

How do I disconnect?

In Claude, go to Customize > Connectors and remove Forgefy. To stop an API key, revoke it in Settings, Account.

Can I limit what Claude can do?

Yes. In Claude, go to Customize > Connectors, select Forgefy and set any tool to Blocked, for example Delete drafts.

Claude says it can't connect?

Remove the connector and add it again. When Claude asks how to sign in, choose Sign in now and Register automatically. Still stuck? Email paul@forgefy.io.
